Winter Cloth Distribution

The Department of English, University of Asia Pacific, carried out its 'Winter Cloth DistributionProgram' throughout the month of January, 2014. The initiative was taken by the faculty, students and staff of the department.Winter clothes were collected from the faculty, students and staff of the department and a good number of blankets were bought in order to be distributed among the less privileged and have-nots. A group led by Mr. Takad Ahmed Chowdhury, Ms. ArjumandAraand Mr. Mohammed Mizanur Rashid from the department,moved out and distributed clothes and blankets among the people stricken with severe cold around various parts as well as outskirts of the capital. The department has always been attentive towards its social responsibilities and public welfare.
